FISHING AT ICHRACHAN LOCH

 

Set within the estate, our private loch is home to some truly impressive wild brown trout - a special place to fish, whether you’re experienced or just starting out.

 

We’ve partnered with Oban Angling Adventures, run by Adam & Matt, to offer guided fly fishing experiences. Your day begins right here on the estate loch before heading out to explore Loch Nant and the surrounding moorland lochs. Having spent time on the water with them ourselves, we can confidently say they’re the best in the area - incredibly knowledgeable and great company.

 

For those who prefer to fish independently, the loch is available on a simple permit basis:

 

£10 per day ticket

£50 annual membership

 

Permits cover fishing on the main loch as well as the smaller lochs down at Otter Creek.

Important rules:

 

Catch and release only

No treble hooks permitted - anyone using them will be asked to leave. This helps protect the health of our trout.

 

Guests staying on the estate receive a 20% discount on both day tickets and memberships.

 

Fishing gear, including rods, reels and bait, can be purchased locally from Anglers Corner.
